For those who drive to the Abbey and use a GPS system, you must input the intersection of the Abbey on the system — Scout's Path and Blackbear Dr.

- Depart CRP [Corpus Christi International Airport] on local road(s) (North-East)
- Bear RIGHT (East) onto International Dr
- Turn RIGHT (East) onto Agnes St [SR-44 E]
- Merge onto Agnes St [Ceasar Chavez Memorial Pky]
- Take Ramp (LEFT) onto SR-44 towards TX-44 / TX-358 / I-37 / Padre Island / Shoreline Blvd
- Take Ramp (LEFT) onto SR-358 [N Padre Island Dr] towards TX-358 / I-37 / Shoreline Blvd
- Take Ramp (LEFT) onto I-37 towards I-37 / San Antonio
- Take 37 North all the way to exit #47 (Swinney Switch and 534)
- Turn left onto 534 at the stop sign and go to Dinero for 3.3 miles
- Turn left at Dinero still on 534 and go 8.7 miles to 534/3162 junction
- Turn left onto 534 and go 2 miles to 3162 (on the right is 534 Mesquite Bar and Grill)
- Turn left onto 3162 to go 1.3 miles to Ranger Road
- Turn right onto Ranger Road and go 1.4 miles to Blackbear
- Turn left onto Blackbear and go 0.3 of a mile to Scout's Path
- Turn right on Scout's Path and go till you run into the Abbey

- Take I-35 South to 37 South
- Take 37 South all the way to exit #47 (Swinney Switch and 534)
- Take exit #47 unto FM 3024 for 1.7 miles to a 4-way stop sign
- Turn right onto 534 at the stop sign and go to Dinero for 3.3 miles
- Turn left at Dinero still on 534 and go 8.7 miles to 534/3162 junction
- Turn left onto 534 and go 2 miles to 3162 (on the right is 534 Mesquite Bar and Grill)
- Turn left onto 3162 to go 1.3 miles to Ranger Road
- Turn right onto Ranger Road and go 1.4 miles to Blackbear
