St. Mary & St. Moses Abbey
Family Retreat Request

Families, who wish to spend a retreat at St. Mary & St. Moses Abbey, are required to:
  1. Follow the Retreat Center Rules and Guidelines;
  2. Complete the Retreat Request form below; and
  3. Submit a permission letter from their confession father if it is their first time visiting the monastery.
Please note the following:
  1. Female retreatants are allowed to stay for an overnight retreat only when accompanied for the whole duration of their stay by: 1) a priest, 2) the husband, or 3) the son or brother of 20 years of age or older. This must be indicated in the "Comments" section of the form below or you may register as a Family and indicate so.
  2. If it is your first time to the monastery, a permission letter is required. Your father of confession can submit it by sending an email to stmarystmosesretreathouse@gmail.com indicating your name, church and the dates of your stay.   3. If you do not submit a permission letter and it is your first time, your registration will not be acknowledged and you will not receive a confirmation email.
  4. As much as possible, the monastery attempts to check retreat requests daily and respond accordingly. Typically, you will receive a confirmation for your request within three days after the monastery receives your permission letter. Therefore, please work with your father of confession to ensure it is submitted.
  5. If your application is denied, you will be notified through email. The Abbey reserves the right to deny any application without explaining the reasons.
  6. Please do not make flight reservations until you receive a confirmation for your retreat request.
