ثلاثة أشياء يستنير بها العقل: الإحسان إلى مَن أســـاء
إليك، والصبر على ما ينالك مِن أعدائك، وترك
النظـــــــرأو الحسد لمَن يتقدمك في الدنيا. القوى القديس الأنبا موسي

Three things enlighten the mind: doing good to those who trespass against you, patiently enduring the hardships of the enemy, and abstaining from judgment and envy towards those preceding you in life.

إذا جلست على المائدة لتأكل مع الإخوة فلا تتحدث مع أحد وإن حدثوك فلا تجبهم حتى تفرغ من الأكل وأشكر اللـه على جميع أفعاله وعطاياه

If you sit at the table to eat with the brethrens, do not converse with anyone, and if someone converses with you, do not answer until you finish eating and have thanked God for all His works and gifts.
